Animal Paint by Numbers

Animals make up one of the largest parts of our paint by numbers range. Alongside dogs and cats, you will find Highland cows, elephants, lions, tigers, birds, rabbits and plenty of less familiar subjects. Some stay fairly close to natural colours; others use bold backgrounds and much brighter palettes.

The animal alone doesn’t determine difficulty – it is mostly about the detail. A clear portrait with a plain background can be fairly quick to work through. Fine fur, feathers, flowers and detailed scenery usually mean smaller numbered areas and a longer project. Dogs, Cats, Highland Cows and More

Dogs and cats naturally make up a large part of the range, but the collection goes much further. Highland cows are easy to recognise by their long coats and often appear alongside flowers or countryside scenery. Wildlife brings different textures again, from elephant skin and bird feathers to the markings of lions, tigers and other big cats.

When the Background Matters Too

Some are pure animal portraits, while others feel more like a landscape or floral scene with an animal in the lead role. A cow standing among wildflowers, a bird surrounded by plants or wildlife against a mountain backdrop may naturally belong to more than one collection.
