Portrait & Figure Paint by Numbers

Faces, figures, couples, dancers and people caught in everyday or imaginative scenes make up our portrait paint by numbers collection. Some designs focus closely on the face, while others place the person inside a larger story, landscape or decorative setting. Styles range from realistic portraits to colourful and more abstract figures. Free UK shipping is included.

Portrait & Figure Paint by Numbers

Not every portrait needs to be a close-up face. This collection also includes full figures, couples, people outdoors, dancers and characters placed inside larger scenes. In some paintings the person is the entire subject; in others, the setting tells just as much of the story.

That creates a wide range of painting styles, from softer realistic portraits to bold colour, fashion-inspired figures and more abstract compositions.

Faces, Figures and People in a Scene

A close portrait puts most of the work into skin tones, hair, eyes and clothing. A figure in a landscape spreads the detail further across the canvas, adding sky, plants, architecture or other people around the subject.

Some of those designs also overlap with Abstract & Modern Paint by Numbers, especially when colour and shape matter more than realistic portraiture.

Portraits from Famous Art

Recognisable portraits from art history belong here too. Vermeer, Klimt and Leonardo da Vinci connect figure painting with our Famous Paintings collection, where you can browse by artist rather than by subject.

Turn Your Own Photo into a Portrait Painting

If you came here looking for yourself, your partner, family or another person you know, a ready-made portrait will only get you so far. Our Personalised Paint by Numbers UK collection lets you upload your own photograph and have the kit created from that image.

Portrait photos, couples, family pictures and memorable occasions are some of the most natural uses for a personalised kit, because the individual people in the picture are the reason for choosing it in the first place.
