Intermediate Paint by Numbers
Intermediate kits sit in the middle for a reason. They have more small sections and background detail than our beginner designs, but they are not dominated by the very fine work found in the most demanding paintings.
You will find a broad mix here: Highland cows with flowers, coastal terraces, lake scenes, colorful animals and more decorative compositions. It is a useful level if you have already finished a simpler kit and want the next painting to keep you busy for longer.
What Changes After Beginner Level?
The biggest difference is usually not the subject but the amount of detail around it. Fur may be broken into more color changes, flowers may contain more individual petals, and scenery can introduce reflections, buildings, foliage or layered backgrounds.
If you would rather keep the numbered areas larger and clearer, return to Paint by Numbers for Beginners.
Choose the Subject First
Difficulty matters, but you are more likely to finish a painting you actually want to look at. Animal lovers can start with Animal Paint by Numbers, floral designs sit in Flower Paint by Numbers, and scenic projects can be found through Landscape Paint by Numbers.
The intermediate collection simply gathers suitable choices from those themes in one place.
Want Something More Demanding?
If smaller sections and more intricate backgrounds are part of the appeal, move on to Advanced Paint by Numbers. That collection contains the designs that ask for more patience and closer brushwork.
