Curled among bright orange pumpkins, the cat in Sleeping Cat on Pumpkins Paint by Numbers turns a classic autumn setting into a quiet, cosy scene. Soft fur rests against the rounded pumpkin shapes, while the warm seasonal colours gather around the sleeping animal and keep the composition focused on that peaceful centre.
Whiskers, fur edges and curved pumpkin sections provide the finer work, balanced by larger areas of orange and surrounding colour. Explore more feline artwork in our Cat Paint by Numbers collection.

A Sleeping Cat Nestled Among Bright Autumn Pumpkins
The cat lies quietly among a cluster of rounded orange pumpkins, creating a warm seasonal composition built around soft fur and repeated autumn shapes. The sleeping pose keeps the centre calm, while the pumpkins add stronger colour and structure around the animal. Fur texture, whiskers and facial detail draw the eye inward before the broader pumpkin forms carry it back through the surrounding scene.
Painting Experience
This intermediate design mixes small pet details with larger curved sections. A fine brush will help around whiskers, facial features and fur edges, while a medium brush works well across many of the pumpkin areas. Keeping neighbouring orange, brown and shadow tones separate will help preserve the rounded pumpkin forms instead of flattening them into one block of colour.
Why You’ll Love It
The scene combines a familiar cat portrait with unmistakable autumn colour, giving the finished artwork both seasonal warmth and a relaxed focal point. Browse more animal subjects in our Animal Paint by Numbers collection.

A DIY wooden frame is an option included in your paint by numbers for adults kit. It comes unassembled (bars and pins), allowing you to easily stretch the canvas over it after painting. Instructions are included.

What if I paint in the wrong section?
No problem at all. Our thick acrylics offer superior coverage—simply let the area dry and paint over it with the correct color.
