This is a lovely paint by number kit, I can't really mess it up, it's Van Gogh for goodness sake! You'll need a wooden frame, a pair of canvas stretching pliers, and a staple gun to mount the canvas. After that, you paint!

paints that work!

I have tried many paint-by-number companies and this one is great! I've had a lot of issues in the past where the paint is like a latex and dries out immediately, but not this one! Paint stays liquid long enough to actually paint.

Easy to See

My husband enjoyed doing a paint by number this spring but it was a strain for him to see. He was planning to try again if he could find an easier one. He is very pleased with the easy to read sections of this one, so I will try more of these beginner adult ones for him.

Challenging Paint by Number Scene

This paint by number was great. It took me a month to finish but I enjoyed working it. I would not say a beginner should start with this one. I've done many of these kits and this one was the most challenging with so many small spaces. Colors were good with only one or two that have to have more than one coat. I did some embellishments and am quite pleased with my result.

This was fun to do, my friends love it.

I ran out of #4 but that's okay. It was a very relaxing and fun project to do. You do need to get stretcher bars, staple them together, then staple the canvas. Also, prep the canvas by ironing it to get the creases out, but that's just part of painting on canvas. All my friends love this painting even though I modified it a bit. Usually in art class everyone does their own thing anyway and you learn that way too.

I’ve completed several pbn’s and thus one had the best paints yet. Inevitably the paints in pbn need to be reconstituted because they are too dry. I only needed to add a drop or two to 3 of the 25 pots here. There was plenty if paint.Typically I spend as much time making improvements after getting the paint all on the canvas. I am happy with this one as is. Its an approximation of the original that works on its own merit.It was easy to paint. Numbers were large enough to read and clearly printed in every space. Spaces were if comfortable size. I used a #2 brush (from another kit) that i like to paint most of the painting
