FAQ's - Paint by Numbers

Paint by Numbers

Q1: My paintbrush has frayed after some use. What should I do?
A1: Most of the time, fraying occurs when there is a buildup of thick paint on the brush. You can easily fix this by cleaning the brush bristles with water or wiping them with a tissue.

Q2: The paint seems too thick and difficult to apply. What can I do?
A2: Acrylic paint tends to dry quickly and may become somewhat thick. If this happens, you can add 1-2 drops of water to the paint to dilute it and make it easier to work with.

Q3: What should I do if I make a mistake and paint the wrong color?
A3: If you make a mistake, you can refer to the expected result picture we provide. Acrylic paint has good coverage, and you can completely cover the wrong color with the correct one.

Q4: How can I handle blending different colors in an area?
A4: Blending areas typically involve two or three different colors. The method is the same: blend the colors together. First, complete the first color, then move on to the second color. While the paint is still wet, use a brush with the second color to gently blend at the junction until it becomes blurred.

Q5: Some areas can't fully cover the numbers and lines. What should I do?
A5: Lighter colors might have slightly weaker coverage, but they can still cover. Simply apply a thicker coat of paint or, after the paint dries, apply another coat.

Q6: Different drying times can make the painting look inconsistent. What should I do?
A6: Don't worry, once the paint has completely dried, it will all look consistent.

Q7: Do I need to strictly follow the lines when coloring?
A7: You don't have to be too strict when filling in colors unless you are working on faces with specific expressions. For elements like flowers, clouds, or sea, you have the freedom to color outside the lines to create a more artistic touch.

Q8: Can I add my own creativity to the painting?
A8: Absolutely! While numbered sections are provided, you can add your creativity and modifications to make the artwork unique.

Q9: Will the paintings fade or get old?
A9: Properly stored, these paintings can last a long time. To extend their lifespan, avoid direct sunlight, and perform regular cleaning and maintenance.
